The Parkesburg Chapter’s Mission
The Parkesburg Chapter’s mission is to reach out to families in the borough and surrounding communities by providing them with knowledge about the Heroin epidemic and how local residents, schools, and law enforcement can become involved to help and protect each other.
The Parkesburg Chapter of Kacie’s Cause meets monthly to discuss ways of delivering information to parents and children that will spread awareness and help save lives. Our team members have a vested interest in providing educational information to a sometimes unsuspecting or unaware community. We accomplish this in various ways such as collaborating with the Octorara School District and Chester County Drug Programs, presenting drug awareness during town & school meetings, participating in community events, participating in local Parents Support Groups, and simply identifying areas where we can make a difference. We welcome the community’s thoughts and insights about the heroin problem and will work with you toward a solution.
